Incorporated in November 2022, the City of Mableton is proud to be the largest city in Cobb County, Georgia, serving a dynamic and growing population of nearly 80,000 residents. Led by Mayor Michael Owens and six dedicated City Council members, Mableton is shaping a bold future rooted in community, culture, and opportunity.
Renowned for its abundant parks and green spaces—the most in Cobb County—Mableton offers a unique blend of natural beauty and urban convenience. Public Meetings
The Mableton City Council holds regular public meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. These meetings provide an important opportunity for residents to stay informed, share their perspectives, and actively engage with city leadership.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The FY 2026 Proposed Budget will be given to the Mayor and
Council by the City Manager Bill Tanks and Finance Director Karen Ellis.
Public Hearings on the FY 2026 Proposed Budget will be held June 11, 2025 and June 25, 2025.
The FY 2026 Budget will be considered for adoption at the June 25, 2025 regular Council meeting.
